The ALS Society of Ontario is dedicated to assisting individuals diagnosed with ALS to cope with the daily challenges of decreasing mobility, communication ability and retaining independence. The ALS Equipment Program provides access to basic and essential assistive equipment through:
- Loan of equipment
- Purchase assistance for new equipment over $250
- Funding assistance for lease of communication devices
The ALS Society of Ontario has a designated equipment list. Only equipment on this list will be available for lease, loan or purchase/rental assistance. Individuals requiring equipment not included in our list can put in a special request, which will be considered on the basis of resource availability.
