The primary source of information for most newly diagnosed clients is the “Manual for People Living with ALS”. This publication presents information about ALS, its progression, the role of the healthcare team and assistive devices in managing symptoms, and highlights the psychosocial and economic effects of this disease. This binder is available in English, French and Chinese as well as on our website at no charge to clients.

We also have a variety of other resources helpful to those affected by ALS, such as our regional library and Resource Guide for People with ALS. Please take a moment to browse our Resource Section to find useful resources and information you need.

We are always looking to expand on our resources. If you have any suggestions regarding what we can add to this section, please contact the ALS Society at info@alsont.ca.
