ALS Ontario
ALS Ontario was founded in 1988 as a charitable organization with the goal of providing support services to persons with ALS and their families, helping to raise funds for research and to generate public awareness and education regarding this fatal disease.
In collaboration with a dedicated Board of Directors and talented staff, you will execute the strategic plan that will build on the successes of ALS Ontario. You will be the organization’s principal relationship developer among all of its constituencies, including the other Provincial ALS leaders, provincial government, the health care community, corporate Canada, the media, and valued volunteers.
You will exercise leadership in fund development to support services for people with ALS, provide sound stewardship in administration, serve as the spokesperson and advocate for ALS Ontario and champion its mission.
A proven team motivator and collaborator, you have shown strategic and operational excellence in equal measure in executive roles within complex organizations. Drawing on your demonstrated relationship management, financial leadership, affinity for fundraising, and strong communication skills as well as your passion for making a difference, you are ready to lead and inspire the supporters of this vital provincial organization.
