The WALK for ALS is the signature event of ALS Society of Ontario. This event helps to increase awareness of ALS and raise money for equipment and support services for people living with ALS, as well as research to find a cure.
The 2009 WALK for ALS was held in 27 communities across Ontario: Alliston, Almonte, Barrie, Belleville, Brampton, Cobourg, Cornwall, Durham, Georgetown, Goderich, Halton, Hamilton, Kingston, Kitchener/Waterloo, London, Newmarket, Niagara Falls, Mississauga, Ottawa, Parry Sound, Smiths Falls, Stratford, Sudbury, Thunder Bay, Timmins, Toronto and Wingham. Please click on "Locations" in the right-hand menu for details about the 2010 WALK for ALS. Information will be posted as it is finalized.
