The fourth annual Hike for ALS was held at the Kortright Centre for Conservation in Woodbridge on September 27 and was our biggest success yet! Despite the rain and drizzle, hundreds of participants joined the ALS Society of Ontario and the ALS Society of Canada for a fun-filled day of hiking and family activities. Approximately $107,000 was raised, which is shared equally between the two societies.
This year, Family Day was held in conjunction with the hike. Family Day featured fun activities for children, including pony rides, jumping castles and clowns. Participants also enjoyed massages and delicious pastries, popcorn, cotton candy and a barbequed lunch.
Thank you to all participants, volunteers, donors and sponsors for your support!
